Here is a fun little something something. I did this in about an hour in Photoshop CS3. And of course with the final are the step by steps :D I've never really tried to draw a griffin before, so I think this turned out fairly nicely. I like the gesture outline to it...then again, I do love gesture drawings lol.

So I have finally played the first Bioshock, and I FRIGGIN LOVE IT!!! So here is a big daddy: elite bouncer, I did in Photoshop CS3. I worked with different opacities, trying to make it look painting esc. So I guess this is a digital painting? lol but I will still label it as illustration. So here is my process and the final result.

Ok so here is an idea for a super hero that has been mulling around in my head for a long while now...her super power is the ability to control shadows. Shadows created by anything really. So she can control objects (and in real emergencies, people) by touching their shadow, she can sink into the shadows and move among them (so she can climb up walls and disappear into them and into the ground...things like that). The bigger the shadows the stronger she is. When she learns to control her ability and becomes stronger, the shadows can become tangible objects, so she can make shields, a weapon if needed, and such. Maybe even minions muahaha. Every hero needs something to boss around :P I also see her power kinda like water bending, only its not water, its shadows...so like it'll be grey and black stuff instead of water thats moving around. I don't really have a clear answer as to how she got her powers, maybe something involving a solar eclipse? As far as her name, I'm liking Avery or Hadley. Those have been muling in my mind. But should her name have that classic same letter thing...like Peter Parker, Reed Richards, Bruce Banner bla bla. As far as a super hero name, theres the basic...Shadow. I don't want anything like Shadow Girl or Shadow Woman...thats just silly. I might find a way to incorporate an owl theme since I like owls :) Also what if she were actually a he? As far as a villain, it would have to be the opposite of shadows, so they control reflections haha? idk. Maybe they always want to blow up the sun. So enough writing...heres a doodley concept!
