Hasbro Workshop

So the time has come to reveal to you the pains of my hard labor!! Here at DAAP, Hasbro came by and gave us a project. Make an action figure with 5 parts of articulation (joints) and if we love it you can be a paid intern for us over the summer! So i took on this HUGE project. I did the sketches, illustrations, molds, and sculpting. IT WAS SOO HARD BUT SOOO MUCH FUN!!! The wax model part with the joints was the hardest.. Its a truly unique material and is hard to work with. But wether or not I get the job, it was an AMAZING learning experience and I can't wait to do it again!

Pink Origami

Here is one project I've been working on. It is for my Japanese class, promoting breast cancer awareness. According to Japanese culture, if you make 1,000 origami cranes (Senbazuru), your wish will come true. So I have made over 200 of these cute little guys to support the cause. Some time next week, the leader of JASS( Japanese-American Student Society), will be headed down to drop them off to a local breast cancer center or hospital.
